Tonight I saw Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (IMDBGoogleOfficial Site).

One word: wow.

There’s so much in that movie that now truly completes the saga. I’m not going to sit here and bore you with specifics; you know what I’d be saying anyway. I will say though that in my opinion, George Lucas has redeemed himself in my book – he’s proved he still has what it takes to evoke an emotional response from the audience – he still has what it takes to send a chill though my spine… thanks George.

That, and John Williams continues to enhance the experience with his wonderful scoring. I especially liked his use of themes in this movie; themes from Episodes IV, V, and VI that triggered an “ooo – I remember that” feeling (at least, it did if you recognized the themes), and then mixing those themes with ones from Episodes I and II, along with a couple new themes he wrote for Episode III. Bravo Mr. Williams.

On another note: don’t try to drive, smoke a cigarette, and talk on a cellphone all at the same time. No, I didn’t do that, but I almost got hit tonight by someone that was attempting to do just that… dumb.

Tomorrow is friday. Amen.

Oh, and… May the Force be with you.

Plug in. Sia bene.
