In other news… the summer is coming to a close. Only 1 month left. Wow. And it’s always the last month of the summer that disappears the fastest.

I’m hooked on the new Battlestar Galactica series. It appeals to my inner-nerd because of the sci-fi thing… but it’s also good television. It’s one of those shows where everything is not hunky-dory. Last season ended with the captain of the ship getting 2 shots in the chest from a member of his own crew, and the captian’s son is being held in the brig on charges of mutiny (not related to the shooting)… it’s also filmed in a very “real” way… good shots - and the special effects are used in the same way - it’s very well done. I suggest you give it a shot even if you don’t like “sci-fi” things… Fridays at 9 PM (CST) on the Sci-Fi channel.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of London, as they continue to be attacked for supporting freedom.
