It’s that time of year…

… where mid-terms will command the attention of my study-life (that is, I have to have one) for about 2 weeks, and band tour messes up my study-life. Hip hip, hooray.

Actually, band tour shouldn’t be too bad; it’s not like we’ll be on the bus for hours everyday like last year. And I’m really looking forward to not having to cook or pay for food – that’s really the best part of tour. Aisle-Football could claim that title though; I’m still waiting to witness/participate in that marvelous event. Barry – make it happen; it’s kinda your last chance to, isn’t it?

If you’re interested in our tour schedule, click the link to the left labeled, “Band Tour ’06.” Removed.

It’s Theta’s “silent week.” I enjoy this week so much; it’s a shame it overlaps with these 2 weeks of… yeah. Good luck Evan.

I want to learn by placing the textbook against my head and letting osmosis do it’s thing – is that too much to ask?

New Feature!

For those of you who, from time to time, can’t remember I have a blog, and think it’d just be gosh-darn easier if I would just have a xanga so my posts would show up in your subscriptions… I have a fix (sorta)!

You can now subscribe to my site, by clicking the link over on the left that says “Subscribe.” Enter an email address that you check from time to time, and you’ll get an email at that address asking you to confirm your subscription by clicking a link; then you’ll be subscribed.

What it’ll do is send you an email when I post, with a link to the post. Your email address will not be shown to the public, and I will not use it for any other means than this subscription service.

Come on, you know you want to…

You probably can’t tell, but I’ve upgraded the underworkings of my site to the latest version of WordPress. If you can’t tell, that’s a good thing – but if you can tell, that probably means there’s a problem. Let me know if you find any.

*Edit: I’ve already noticed that the body text on all the pages (including individual post pages) is bold now by default… I’m not sure why either.

**Edit: Fixed.

Today, high of 83, low of 30.

Texas weather is crazy. Two days ago, I was wearing shorts and sandals. Today, I couldn’t wear enough clothing.

I finally had a burger from Rick & Carolyn’s. Maybe it was just because I was super hungry, but it was like having a patty of heaven with all the toppings between a couple pieces of bread. The fries could have been better, though next time I think I’ll try the waffle fries.

Today, I rediscovered my love for the 80′s – and with it – some of the greatest music ever written / recorded. Thank you, NBC, for airing infomercials on Saturday afternoons.

And, thanks to the HSU tech department, we can now (finally) download music through the iTunes Music Store – so now I can get my hands on some of that musical goodness.

Time to hibernate.

EDIT: I like the iTMS (apparently), and the “Just For You” is a great feature that analyzes the songs you sample and download off the iTMS, and then suggests stuff you’ll probably like. For me, 5-6 times out of 10, it’ll be right – but I just don’t get this one:
