Based on the recent history of the iPhone, i won't go out and buy the first tablet. I will wait for the product to improve and the price to drop. Knowing Apple I won't have to wait too long. I'd luv to know many people had buyers remorse after rushing to buy the first version

I'd suggest the Mac Pro mainly for upgrade options. I don't know about you, but after I buy something I usually think about what I could have had better. With the Pro, you have the opportunity to customize whatever the heck you want with it. Yes, you'll only be running a single display, but you know you'll be able to find a second display somewhere at sometime whenever you need to. You will not, however, be able to crack open your iMac and throw in more gigs of memory or set up a screaming RAID or even have two disc drives (it is always nice being able to just straight copy). So while the iMac is a great machine and has many strengths, I feel that in the constantly evolving and changing technological society of today you're going to need to the ability to customize and upgrade. Besides, who doesn't love to say their computer can whip someone else's computer. And with the Mac Pro you can always rip out the hard drive running Windows and throw it across the room. :-)

Speaking on behalf of an iMac owner, I can say they freakin RULE. Yes, no upgrade path - assuming you max it out at purchase - but I've been very impressed with mine and not felt it lacking thus far.

...of course... I also wish I had a MacPro, but that's because I'm a power-monger that just can't seem to satiate his hunger for more GHz.
